EIA & EA
Since its establishment, TAEEs has conducted a number of Environmental Impacts Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Audits (EA) projects that have developmental impacts to the nation. These assignments were done by TAEEs itself or through associating with other firms
The projects are grouped into 4 major groups as:-
Roads
The following is a list of EIA projects that TAEEs has undertaken related to roads developments in Tanzania
- Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the proposed upgrading of Kigoma, Kasulu-Nyakanazi road, (332km) – TAEEs was associated
- Mto wa mbu – Loliondo (215), Lindi region roads Mwigumbi – Lamadi (171), Lindi district roads – TAEEs was associated
- Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the proposed upgrading of Nyanguge-Musoma roads – TAEEs was associated
- Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the proposed upgrading of Kissesa – Usagara – TAEEs was associated
Water
On water development projects, TAEEs has undertaken the following EIA assignments
- Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the improvement of Water supply in Rombo villages – TAEEs was associated
- Environmental assessment of 7 towns for feasibility study – done vy Poyry Environment, Germany- TAEEs was associated
- EIA for national water supply and sanitation programme (NRWSSP); TAEEs as lead firm
- EIA for construction of an embankment across River Tungu in Kishapu Community Empowerment Project (CEP) – Supported by TCRS; TAEEs lead the assignment
Energy projects
On energy development projects, TAEEs has undertaken the following EIA assignments
- EIA for Fuel depot terminal at Vijibweni, Kigamboni; TAEEs as lead firm
- EIA for construction of fuel Deport, Mwanza; TAEEs lead the assignment
Agriculture projects
On agricultural sector developments, TAEEs has undertaken the following EIA assignments
- EIA for Establishment of sugarcane plantation in Fukayosi village, kiwangwa village, Msata division, Bagamoyo district, coast region; Done by TAEEs as lead firm
- Environmental Audit of the Kapunga rice Plantation, Mbarari, Mbeya; TAEEs as lead firm
