This report presents key findings from the 2018 School Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Assessment, which was implemented by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) and Office of the Chief Government Statistician (OCGS), Zanzibar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government of the Mainland Tanzania and Ministry of Health – Zanzibar. The survey was funded by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Government of Tanzania.
